Costa de la Luz

The Costa de la Luz stretches from the Straits of Gibraltar to the Spanish / Portuguese border. It incorporates two provinces, Cadiz & Huelva and has several nature reserves including one of the largest national parks in Europe, the Doñana National Park.

Unlike its neighbouring Costa, the Costa del Sol, the Costa de la Luz is still relatively undiscovered and underdeveloped.
The province of Huelva runs from the Guadiana river, which separates Portugal from Spain, to the Guadalquivir river in the east. This part of the Atlantic coastline boasts long, unspoilt sandy beaches backed by pine woods and sand dunes.

Ayamonte town has a charm about it unlike any other Spanish town. Known as the ‘gateway to Spain’, the vibrant border town is steeped in history. Narrow tiled streets lead to tree lined plazas with café bars and restaurants all around. Next to the main plaza, the Paseo de la Ribera, is the marina and further along is the ferry dock where you can catch the ferry to Vila Real in Portugal.

The relatively new resort of Isla Canela is a five minute drive from the centre of Ayamonte. It is a natural island and is separated from Ayamonte by a small bridge. It encompasses two resorts, Canela & Punta del Moral. The two areas both have a choice of high class hotels, apartment blocks, bars & restaurants.

The wide sandy beach stretches all the way along the two resorts. In the summer you’ll find chiringuitos (beach bars) and parasols and hammocks for hire all along the beach. The golf course of Isla Canela is just a 2km from the beach.

COSTA ESURI is the biggest single prestigious development project on the Costa de la Luz, near the picturesque old town of Ayamonte.

Situated in the countryside but directly connected to the motorway, COSTA ESURI is 5 minutes to Portugal and Ayamonte, and within 10 minutes to the beach. The famous fishing village of Punta del Moral is where you can enjoy the long and white sandy beaches and the best fish restaurants in the area.

The development at COSTA ESURI consists of two international standard 18 hole golf courses, one five star luxury hotel and two four star hotels with a high standard of facilities and entertainment.

COSTA ESURI offers you an international feeling, by bringing you several commercial centres with a wide range of shops and restaurants offering many different cuisines.

A deep water yacht marina is planned, with its excellent views across the river Guadiana, which separates Spain from Portugal.

This prestigious affordable development has a wide range of two and three bedroom town houses, luxury apartments and individual plots on front line golf (from 850m2 up to 1850m2).

You can let your imagination run wild by designing your own personal villa or by picking from a wide range of villa styles and materials.
